Using scraps

My first ever scrap-busting mug rug.

Its in the mail,
off to my sister in law. She likes pigs, I knew I had some fabric with a pink pig - took me a while to find it. She also gets a random 'J'

I started this last week

Had intended to use some leftover yarn to make a little rug.

The more I did, them more I liked it.

I had to go buy more pink, blue, and yellow.

I added a slip stitch edge.

And left all the tassley ends on the sides.

Its just going to be a bath mat by the shower, it will get washed a lot and they will just work themselves back out anyway ;)

That little blob of cream yarn is all I had left.

Cut it pretty close didn't I?
