The last two weeks I have been working on this.
I knew I would give it to my co-worker, Tom. We have been working together for 13 years now. He is like an uncle I never knew I had until I was 35. He will be 80 this summer, works a few hours a day - he will never retire. I wasn't sure when I would give it to him. Too late for Christmas and not a good gift for July birthday.
He had a little "bump in the road" last weekend. So Tuesday when I left work, I left it on his chair with a little note: To Tom from Linda, too keep you warm while you nap in your recliner
Wednesday morning he gave me a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and told me I was a special lady. Of course we were both all teary.
Its made from Caron simply soft yarn, simple double crochet, three rows then one row, lots of colors.
stuff I made while living in the sticks
i like to think I crochet and quilt, lately I am just a yarn and fabric collector ;)

Water
I have always been a big diet Pepsi and diet Mt Dew drinker. I was drinking 2 or 3 cans a day, and knew that couldn't be good for me.
I am down to 2 or 3 cans a week now. I even lost a few pounds :)
To reward myself, this sweet Hello Kitty cup. She goes to work with me everyday.

March to do list
Oh March. I am looking forward to you bringing some spring weather.
I was tired if winter in January. And February has been extremely snowy.
On my list of things to do

On my list of things to do
- T shirt quilt. Really. This thing has been on my to-do list since Aaron was a sophomore in high school. (He graduated from college last year. Oops) I have about half of them squared up. When I cut one crooked, I set it aside... won't get it done this month, I just need to work on it.
- Finish afghan for Tom. Tom is my co-worker and a sweetheart, he will be 80 this summer and has no desire to retire.
- Declutter. I am not quite to the "Hoarders" stage...but getting close.
- Start going through pictures to display at Jill's graduation party. I asked her if she had any ideas of what she wanted at her party. Cupcakes and goldfish crackers. I think she had the same menu when she was 5!
- Exercise! Tendinitis is stupid.
- Prom dress shopping with Jill. I keep hoping she wears one she already has. She is not a shopper and it would be so much easier, not to mention cheaper.
- Start a quilt for Jill. She has finally made a decision about college. Going to Luther. (Yay!)

Snow day
Jill had a snow day today, so I took one too :)
Last time I went to work when school was cancelled the roads were awful. I was thankful to get to work that day.
And I have a finish! This will be the Christmas present for my secret pal. She loves red and I have been wanting to make one of these for a long time. I love how it turned out.

dish cloth
I made these dish cloths for a fundraiser last weekend.
But I couldn't get a hold of the lady in charge. So they are put aside for the next one. One thing about living in a small town - there is always someone raising money for something.
The photo is a little wonky, the top one looks big, they are actually all the same size.
